This device is primarily used for the automatic sorting and feeding functions of acupuncture needles & Dental bur.

Core Structure and Function

It employs a sorting wheel as its core component. The wheel utilizes needle slots to position acupuncture needles and dental bur, working in conjunction with a rotating mechanism that drives the sorting wheel.

Automated Process

• First-Stage Sorting:

  Operators manually load acupuncture needles into the hopper. A push plate and the needles' own gravity cause them to approach the sorting wheel. The rotation of the primary sorting wheel then performs the initial separation and alignment of the acupuncture needles and dental drills.

• Second-Stage Sorting:

  After the first stage, the products automatically fall into the small hopper of the secondary sorting wheel. Again, utilizing gravity, they settle into the slots of this secondary wheel.

• The needle slots precisely control the position of each individual acupuncture needle, ensuring a strict "one needle per slot" configuration.

Refined Separation by the Sorting Wheel:

This is the core of the entire device. After preliminary arrangement by a vibratory feeder (if applicable), the acupuncture needles & dental bur are conveyed to the periphery of the sorting wheel.

The sorting wheel is a precision-machined disk with a series of specially designed grooves or needle slots along its edge. The shape, size, and depth of these slots are perfectly matched to a single dental diamond bur.

As the sorting wheel rotates slowly, the needles & bur fall into these grooves under the influence of gravity, centrifugal force, or an auxiliary pushing force. Each groove can accommodate only one needle.

The sorting wheel is typically equipped with a brush or an air jet device to sweep away or blow off any needles that fail to correctly enter a groove or are excess, ensuring "one needle per slot."

Positioning and Transfer:

As the sorting wheel rotates, the acupuncture needles, now precisely held in the grooves, are carried to a designated discharge outlet.

At the discharge point, a fixed guide rail or a star wheel usually takes over, smoothly receiving the needles from the wheel's grooves and guiding them to the next stage, such as the entry point of the packaging machine.
